The basic material consists of hot rolled steel strips. Alkalization is a process that cleans sheet metal of rust, dirt and oil, thus preparing it for further processing. Sheet metal undergoes various chemical baths that remove impurities. These baths consist of 5 to 6 percentage concentrate of sulphuric acid at a temperature from 180 to 190°C.
When the sheet metal cools off, it is coated with special oil on unprotected areas mostly to protect it during storing and transport.
Sheet metal has good mechanical characteristics and clean surface. It is used for products, where functional characteristics and also nice form are required, or for subsequent coating with zinc, enamel, colour etc.
